Cutting Out Fizz

By far one of my worst habits is the sheer amount of fizzy drinks that I consume on a daily basis (at this point I honestly think there's more Irn Bru in my bloodstream than legitimate blood). So, I decided to give it up. Go cold turkey. Pull the metaphorical plug. So, with that in mind - I had to find other things to fill the void, and so I set about to see what I could find. Drinks that look good, taste good and do good? Yeah, I've found a few.

These drinks are the one. They might always be the one as now I appear to have created a strange dependency on them; but they sent us a couple of crates of these for #NWmeet and I got the leftovers. The first time I drank these I wasn't quite sure how I felt - they're infused spring water with a flavour and a drop of honey; they seem thicker in consistency than water but definitely quench thirst and the little drop of flavouring means it's not quite as boring as just traditional water. These are pretty good at £1.69 and they come in lemon and blueberry, apple and ginger and green tea and lemon all with a drop of honey! (Plus, you're helping British bees which is so cool.)

Okay so mostly, this is just a gimmicky thing but it's worth a mention for how cool it looks in the bottle - this is fulvic infused water which makes the liquid inside black. It's basically just water but I'm more inclined to drink it when it looks like this because I'm fickle. Having said that these suckers are pretty expensive as a crate of twelve will set you back a whopping £34!

As I'm notoriously bad with vitamins and remembering to generally keep myself healthy - when More Drinks asked me to work with them it seemed like the perfect compromise. Cutting out fizzy drinks that are bad for me and getting the bits that I need that I'm not currently getting in one easy bottle? Go 'ed then. I got one of each of the range that they offer to try out and I have to say all were pretty good, but the standouts are the Get More Vitamin C which is gorgeous and orange flavoured and also the Get More Vitamin D which tastes like Mango and Passionfruit. These aren't too badly priced at £1.45 each, either. Definitely worth getting if you need that extra little boost like I know that I do!

What do you drink instead of good old coke?

Sammy xo.
