I mean does anyone care where I've been lately, really? Well, on the off chance that you do care, it can be summed up in one single word - university. I started my first year of university at the same time that a million other things seemed to hit, and so life got a little heavy, a little busy and more than a little in the way - so, my blog took a backseat in favour of Oscar Wilde, Charles Dickens and a whole lot of policing policies. Uni has been a real culture shock for me, and more than a little difficult - and, it's included probably more tears that alcohol at this point (though that's no mean feat, in my defence). As much as I'm enjoying learning new things, a new lifestyle change and a whole lot of trin journeys; the last few weeks have just been a little overwhelming.
Combined with a new relationship, the potential of moving out, a whole lot of classic literature, volunteer work and blog events, I've barely had time to breathe anymore. My whole life is one constantly spinning whirlwind and it's safe to say that for the last two months my life has gone from highlighters to highlights, and from blushes to biros, but I think (she says, whilst writing this post amongst her criminology notes in the uni library) that I'm finally starting to learn how to juggle it all without my plan including me staying up until 4am every single night in order to keep everything afloat.
So, I think that basically I'm trying to say that I'm back - mostly I'm sure that this will include stockpiling posts whilst we're on holiday and everything is more than just a little hectic, but I can assure you that the (already somewhat poor) quality content won't be rushed or half-assed.
It's good to be back, I missed you all!
