I'm a big lover of Soap and Glory and I have to admit that Katy and I are never, ever short on it. Katy likes the classic scent, whereas I would always go for the lime scent (Sugar Crush) however, we had a bit of a moment when we were in Boots on Oxford Street and I found myself buying Soap and Glory Sugar Crush purely so I could get the new, limited edition Righteous Butter with diamond complex. That's right - there's a glittery Righteous Butter out there, and there was absolutely no way that I was leaving that behind on the shelf.
Now; it was £10 to buy a tub of the glittery Righteous Butter, but you got one free it you spent over £11 on other Soap and Glory products; and so we managed to get a Sugar Crush Body Lotion, Shower Gel and the Diamond Edition Righteous Butter for around a similar price (but I managed to spend £90 on that trip and so I'm not willing to study the receipt and see what I managed to waste all of my money on to find out just how much, I'm afraid). I was pretty happy with that - and although we reminded each other about four times that we didn't actually need any more body butters, neither of us seemed very happy to put this back on the shelf and so we did end up getting it.
I love this stuff - I was expecting a huge tub of glitter, but both luckily and unluckily, this Righteous Butter is anything but. Personally, I'm all about as much glitter as humanly possible all over my body, however, the glitter in this is more like a subtle highlight with a really gentle shimmer in it, and it just highlights your body in a healthy, glowy way as opposed to in a "just rolled in a vat of glitter" kind of way. The tub alone is enough for me to want to stock up on about ten whilst they're around, with shiny labels galore; but truthfully, I'm aware this is a gimmicky product; it's just that I love it anyway.
If you're a glitter lover, I'd love to know if you'll be out there buying a diamond infused Righteous Butter!
Sammy xo.
