Tell Me More Tag

My beautiful pal Lyd came up with a tag that let's you know a little more about the blogger behind the blog that you're so used to reading and so I thought I'd throw myself in and give it a go, so here's a little more information about me;

What's the story behind your blog name?
When I started Little Fickle I suppose I didn't really realise how much mental health, lifestyle, politics etc. would grace this little piece of the internet and so it was called Little Fickle purely because I expected it to be a little fickle blog, talking about all the fickle things I love the most like makeup, fashion and skincare.

What's your real reason for blogging?
I just like it when people listen to me! I'm too scared to go out and shout my opinions into the void, but that doesn't mean I haven't got plenty of them, and so Little Fickle lets me get them all out there.

Best thing about blogging?
When I was at the height of my mental illness and speaking so frankly about it - I had so many messages every week telling me how it helped people to speak about their own more freely, and that will always be something I am insanely proud and happy about, that I could be part of the change, no matter how small.

Worst thing about blogging?
Definitely keeping up with the Jones'. I'm really not a bitter or jealous person, but it's hard not to be when you see how well everyone else is doing and you can't help to compare yourself.

Proudest moment so far?
Setting up Easter CarnLIVal by far, and the sheer amount of donations we had that day that enabled us to help so many organisations in our area. I wasn't just proud of myself that day, but of all the bloggers that were there, it really felt like we were all part of something.

What are your ultimate blogging goals? Don't be shy!
My blogging goals are still small. To keep Little Fickle a place I'm proud of, and to keep it regular and consistent!

If you released a book, what genre would it be?
It would have to be a young adult fiction! I had a hard time growing up, and when I started talking about it on the internet, it became clear that this was normal and we were all too scared to talk about it; so an uncomfortable truth kind of YA fiction would definitely be what I'd end up writing, without a doubt.

If you released products, what would they be? Homeware, beauty, or something unexpected?
I love Homeware and I'd like to thing I have a good eye, and so as weird as it is I think I'd like to create furniture and wallpapers etc. that all went together to create a beautiful space.

What would you name the products and why?
I think I'd just call it 'The Little Fickle Room'! Short but sweet, and 'on brand' as the bloggers like to say.

What has blogging taught you?
I truly can stick with something if I try, I can pull off a mean event, and if you threw me on the apprentice I'd probably thrive.

Sum up your blog in three words!
1. Marriage. No matter what happens on my blog, the top thing that it brought me was my future wife, so marriage has to take the top spot.
2. Friends. I have a whole lot of support around me, and my blog has really taught me who my friends are, as well as bringing a whole new bunch into my life.
3. Hectic. And I wouldn't have it any other way!

Thanks for creating the tag Lyd, and I'd love to see you all do it!
